Insights from Our Ongoing Free Digital Skills Training for 150 Women

It has been a remarkable experience at the ongoing digital skills training organized by Ridot. The program, which focuses on women and started in the month of October, has been a bedrock of knowledge for the beneficiaries.

The training covers several career paths, including:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Product Design
  • Data Analytics
  • Data Science

This initiative is the first of its kind and demonstrates the organization’s readiness and commitment to empowering more women through transformative tech knowledge.

The Application Phase

A total of 735 applications were received, and only 150 candidates were selected. The selection process was quite rigorous, focusing on specific internal criteria and open eligibility requirements such as having a functioning laptop, internet access, and being a woman aged 18–35.

Applicants joined us from seven countries, including Malaysia, UAE, Qatar, Malta, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria, which had the highest representation.

This is an online program that highlights the dedication of both trainers and trainees toward development and growth. We are now more than halfway through the training, and the beneficiaries are deeply grateful for the incredible opportunity. Here is what a trainee had to say during a briefing session:

"This is an online program that highlights the dedication of both trainers and trainees toward development and growth. We are now more than halfway through the training, and the beneficiaries are deeply grateful for the incredible opportunity."
